A new brochure is available with detailed hiking/biking/equestrian trails. See the Trail Maps page to download it or pick it up in the Reserve at information kiosks.

Recommended hikes (short, intermediate, long) in single page format can be downloaded at the bottom of the Maps&Trails page . These maps must be used with the Carlton Brochure also downloadable from that page as PDF file.

Guided hiking events are scheduled during the summer months but may be cancelled due to heat and unpredictable trail conditions.  Information on hiking events on Sarasota County public lands is available on line: https://www.scgov.net/government/parks-recreation-and-natural-resources/things-to-do/programs-and-events/nature-walks
