The new episodes:
Two Sarasota County Florida Wildlife Commission hearings on Critical Wildlife Areas (CWA) are covered in 4 stories.
A timely insight into our states most famous animal is the subject of Alligator!!
An entertaining interview with Tampa Bay Times environmental journalist Craig Pittman is also posted.

The people of Florida have repeatedly voted to support acquiring and sustaining environmentally sensitive lands. These precious natural resources have not gone unnoticed by those who could profit from them. An ongoing battle pits private profit against public parks.
Last year, Florida Field Journal - Not Long Ago took a hard look at the political maneuvers in the state focused on increasing revenue from protected lands. Now, a year later, the show is still relevant and is being screened at the Central Florida Film Festival on September 2nd. (http://www.centralfloridafilmfestival.com/)

The Florida Field Journal is a production of Sarasota County Schools Education Channel and is broadcast locally on cable and worldwide on YouTube and VOD at http://www.theedchannel.net/
